Kep town is one of tourisms in Cambodia and a seaside town located on a group of hills going down to the beach. Camdodian and Vietnamese islands are just offshore. It's a half hour drive from Kampot and 2 hours from SihanoukVille.
Bungalows, villas, guesthouses, and hotels are located on the hillside and the beaches. There's not a whole lot of activity in Kep. Mostly a place for relaxation, enjoying fresh seafood, going for walks, trekking though the hills, boating, bicycling and mountain biking, sitting on the beach, and as a stopover on the way to or from Vietnam.
